During the production of 'Fast and Furious - Tokyo Drift', Bob Stoker, who is our friend and colleague, and is the Set Operations Supervisor on all the features we do, pounded us to design and build this snatch block. He was rigging all sorts of car crashes and wanted the convenience of a snatch block for 1/2 inch cable for ratcheting full size automobiles.
Well, we finally started making these blocks, just in time for Fast and Furious 5. Here they are, in use.
