Our newest Quick release. Compact, but able to support and release 500 pounds (226kg) with a 5 to 1 safety factor. We originally designed this for use by a secret animatronics facility, then revised this model for 'general' use. Takes a 17 pound (7,7kg) pull on the latch lever to drop the load.  top: 10,000 lb Quick Release Next 2200 lb Quick Release; Next 500 lb Quick Release; Bottom 200 lb Mini Quick Release  Body is .625" (16mm) x 1.25"(32mm) x 3.25" (82,5mm) ,less latch lever and pivot pins. Latch and Hook are heat treated 4130 Chrome-Moly Steel. You can see that this design is the child of our XL and L Quick releases, a design proven by wide world-wide use. This quick release is for manual release, however, a push latch lever is available than can be hooked up to an air cylinder for remote actuation
